I have a new Antenna Genius 8x2 which I am setting up with my 2 Flex 6000 series radios. I am not operating SO2R with 1 Flex, rather I have the 2 radios, each with it's own amplifier and tuner. I am trying to set up the system with both radios connecting to the AG via the LAN. Radio A is set up with TX 1 and Radio B is set up with TX 2. I can initially get both radios to communicate with the AG. Radio A stays connected and tracks band changes on the AG with no issues. Radio B initially connects but then drops out and the switch looses the antenna assignment, so no antenna is connected to that radio. If I move the frequency or change the band on Radio B, everything reconnects properly. After about 60 seconds, it drops out again.
The Flex's are running 2.6.2 and the AG firmware is 3.14 I have seen other comments on this forum regarding the drop out situation when using 3.1.4 but not with my 2 radio configuration. Should this configuration work? If it should, what is the problem. If it is not supposed to work, should I connect Radio B using the BCD data via a USB connection to the radio? If it is a 3.1.4 firmware issue, how can I get an older version to test? Some guidance would be appreciated. BTW, Radio A never drops out and functions properly via the AG. The problem is only with the second radio connected. Thanks...Jay K8CJY
