I'm installing an RG with two sensors, one for each of my towers.

Is there any reason not to install a surge protector on the sensor cable to help mitigate lightning getting into the RG itself?

Hi Rich,

Is there any reason not to install a surge protector on the sensor cable. In opposite it can helps.
