4O3A NC-1 is a top of the line headset designed primarily for contesting. We never found the perfect headset for our 4O3A station so we designed our own.
The NC-1 are light, comfortable and have amazing audio reproduction, making contesting a truly enjoyable experience.

The MC-1 is a versatile, affordable condenser microphone with superior vocal clarity. The MC1 delivers impressive performance with its wide frequency response. It captures your voice with exceptional clarity and precision.

For communication purposes, flat microphone response provides the possibility to be set with internal transceiver equalizer to fit your own taste and preference.

The microphone includes a convenient and beautiful soft case, 3.5mm to 6.3mm adapter and two sponges.

The MC-1 does not come as a part of the NC-1 headset and is sold separately.

The AY1 microphone adapter cable is created to adapt the MC1 microphone cable (which is a standard 3,5mm mono) to match the connector on your Yaesu radio.

The mic cable is plugged into the 3,5mm female mono jack on the adapter cable. The mic connector on the adapter cable then plugs into the microphone jack on your transceiver.

The 1/4 in. the female jack on the adapter cable is for connecting a Push-To-Talk (PTT) footswitch or hand switch. Even without a PTT footswitch or hand switch, your radio can still
be used in VOX mode.

The adapter does not come as a part of the NC-1 headset and is sold separately.

Most modern devices today feature a 4 pin TRRS (Tip Ring Ring Sleave) connector that hosts the two stereo headphone connections, a microphone connection and the ground.

In case you need to connect your headset to a device that has the headphone and the microphone connectors separated you will need this adapter.

This adapter is a 3.5mm TRRS male to 3.5mm stereo and 3.5mm mono female connectors so it can be used on the headphone output directly.

The ear cushions are the most vulnerable and expendable part of any headphones. Securinga pair of backup ear cushions will extend the use time of the headset by years so securingsome spares might be a good idea.

Keep your NC1 Bluetooth Headset working like new and don't let worn out ear cushions diminish your comfort and listening experience on your NC1 Bluetooth Headset.

Due to the popularity of our A/B switches we decided to make a super-switch containing 8 A/B switches in a single box.

The microphone sponge is not only a sibilance filter that ensures a nicer translation of your voice but a point of hygiene too. We recommend swapping the sponge for anyone else who
uses your headset.

The NC-1 headset comes with a two microphone sponge replacements.

High isolation A to B switch, need for some applications such as extension of the antenna matrix.

Towers are usually designed with 3m or 6m long sections, with standard width of 50cm, 60cm, 65cm, 80cm or 100cm.
