Hi,

I have been working on a project called Node Red which allows me to monitor and control devices from any web browser, including smartphones. This includes my amp, rotor, power outlets, Flex Radio, etc.

I want to integrate the Antenna Genius into Node Red. Is there a command that I can send via TCP or UDP to poll the status of the AG? I am not concerned with controlling the AG although I have figured out how I can manually change antennas from Node Red but since the AG is configured to automatically switch antennas via information from the Flex 6700 I am more interested in status update to show which antenna is connected to Radio Ant1 and Radio Ant2. This would be the display in Node Red.

That's awesome, great job!

We use the "discovery protocol" for that.

It's UDP packets, the AG is basically announcing it's on the network in intervals I believe.
You should find that in the protocol I've sent you via email.

Thank you Dragisa. I did receive the link to the TCP command protocol. I find if I send !0007!00c880! I get the status message returned which allows me to parse the information I wanted.

Attached is a picture of the Antenna Genius window in Node Red running on a Raspberry Pi. I can access that information from any web browser including smartphones. This is very valuable when running remote operation. Note, only the information above SmartSDR program is shown in the web broswer. For the picture I have SmartSDR running in front of the browser window.
