I'm a very happy owner of a AG 8x2 antenna switch, works great with my Flex 6700. Next step in my set-up would be to implement BPF. Not sure if there are a market for what I would like to have. But I'm sure that what 4O3A offers today is way overkill for my needs.

I would like to have BPF between Trx/amplifier (not sure if internal filtering in the 6700 would be enough?) i.e. 150-200 watt filters. A one-pack 6-band filter would be nice to save space.

Then after amplifier Bpf appr. 1500 watts, as my legal limit in Sweden is 1kW. No way I would buy filters approved for 4.5 kW, way to expensive.

In the best of the universe .. those new 4O3A filters low power would be part of the Genius range and Ethernet controlled by my Flex. With the high power ones, well the go after the 8x2, so just want a cheaper series for power more consistent with what the average Ham uses.

Any such plans Ranko? Or is it just those running way over legal limit power you like to see as customers?

Hi Johan,

reason for handling power of 4500W is not leaded with goal to support high power needs. Main reason is in a fact that we are using high quality components and filters are simply designed with capacitors, which allows that range of power/RF currents. XL filters are lifetime product, and can survive most of the critical situations with high SWR.
During 2021 we will launch new models, with new features, to simplify station automation by lot. LAN control will be possible with some of our Genius devices or interfaces.
We don't intend to make Low Power filters, or filters for power ranges of 1500W. Price, for desired quality can't be much lower, so it does not have sense. Satisfying customers, with plug and forget product is what we like.

I must say I wish I had bought my antenna switch much earlier. Your product quality is absolutely amazing.
