The azimuth reader doesn't always show the right degrees?

Some directions match exactly with the rotor steering display and a manual compass, in some directions it is missing by up to 20 degrees.

But there is nothing in these directions that can affect the accuracy of the display?

Any idea?

Hey Gerald,

Have you tried the sensor correction algorithm?
It's described in chapter 4.1: 4o3a.com/images/downloads/rotator_genius...anual_1_4_3-rev5.pdf

It's there for that exact reason.

Other than that any ferromagnetic in the close vicinity of the sensor will affect the readouts.

Hi!

I use only the Azimuth Reader without the Rotator Genius as a second "Controller" for the correct direction.

Therefore is no possibility to use the "Sensor Correction" utility by the Rotator Genius Application.
